As 2023 draws to a close, we reflect on a year filled with growth, innovation, and impactful connections at Twin Science & Robotics. From prestigious encounters to strategic partnerships, each milestone this year has strengthened our mission to develop STEM skills for a sustainable future. We introduced Twin to Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh

Our Co-Founder, Cihan Ozalevli, presented Twin’s ‘STEM for Sustainability’ vision to Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh. The royal insight into our Robotics and Coding Kit has inspired us, reinforcing our commitment to global sustainability. Twin will continue to grow its positive impact with the support of the royal family.

We organized STEM workshop at the United Nations

“We are very proud of you. You created a system to give something for the kids to give them the possibility to create. That’s really fantastic. You are redesigning thinking to achieve a sustainable future.”

Kőrösi Csaba, President of the United Nations General Assembly, shared his comments after our groundbreaking Science in Braille workshop at the United Nations Headquarters!

This workshop was held to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. It was organised with the Royal Academy of Science International Trust, Girls in Science 4 SDGs International Platform. Using our Bett Global Award winner braille STEM kits, blind children participated in #STEM activities that focused on problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity.

So far, STEM for Sustainability has empowered 760,000+ disadvantaged children

Twin kits reached 140.000 children in the earthquake affected regions. As Twin and YGA team of science volunteers, we are currently working in the earthquake affected regions, prioritizing supporting children in rebuilding their confidence and sense of competence. Every week, we conduct science workshops with them. They are learning to use STEM for sustainable development. We aim to reach even more children in 2024!

We partnered with Intel & Casper

We partnered with Intel Corporation & Casper Computer Systems in a groundbreaking collaboration. This initiative brings STEM for Sustainability education to students across the globe, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. We announced the partnership at the Young Guru Academy (YGA) Summit 2023. Our CEO, Asude Altintas Guray, joined global education leaders Intel Education GM Cigdem Ertem and Executive Chair of Foundation for Education Development Carl Ward, in a panel on the evolving educational landscapes in the UK and USA. More than 2,000 students joined from the top universities and high schools nationally.

Twin has been selected for the HundrED Global Collection 2024

Our participation in the HundrED Summit in Helsinki was a testament to our commitment to educational innovation. Our Co-founder, Cemil Cihan Ozalevli, represented Twin Science, discussing the future of STEM for Sustainability education and our impactful role in it. We are also proud to be recognized as one of the top 100 innovations in the HundrEDorg Global Collection 2024. Out of 3000+ innovations, this selection underscores our impactful role in STEM for Sustainability education.

We joined Microsoft’s Entrepreneurship for Positive Impact Program

As part of the esteemed Microsoft Entrepreneurship for Positive Impact cohort, we are proud to join forces with like-minded visionaries to scale our positive impact! Our involvement in Microsoft’s Entrepreneurship for Positive Impact program allowed us to explore AI’s role in empowering educators and innovating sustainability education. It was a unique opportunity to align our goals with global technology leaders. The ChangeNOW summit was also an enriching experience, allowing us to share our journey and insights with fellow startups from the Microsoft Entrepreneurship for Positive Impact program.
